I don't know about you, but music is a necessary for me. I have music playing literally all day. I would much rather listen to music than watch TV. I have it playing while cleaning, while eating, while playing with Bennett, while driving, pretty much all day. Bennett and I have found ourselves dancing and singing around the house for hours at a time. He loves it and it gives me exercise! Now I must admit, I can not sing a bit! I cannot carry a tune in a bucket. Really, it's bad! I've heard that ANYONE can learn to sing, but I'm thinking that doesn't apply to me.
I love all music too. I can listen to anything (well, not heavy rap music or opera). Stanley prefers old rock and country, which I enjoy, but I want a little bit of everything. He always fusses at me when I make a CD that has a wide selection of music on it. Although, he made a playlist on my iPod the other day and to say the least, it is pretty random! :)
I grew up with music. My daddy always listened to country and "oldies." My momma listened to Christian, "oldies" and anything I wanted to listen to. I would find interesting facts about musicians and spit them out at my parents while on a road trip. Such as, George Strait has never written a single one of his songs or Freddie Mercury wrote and composed everyone of his songs or where musicians were from.
In my teens, I had, and still do, this fascination with Jim Morrison and The Doors. I just thought he was such a hottie and an amazing musician! :) I have always joked saying that I grew up in the wrong era. If I was to pick a favorite genre of music, I would say music from the 60s and 70s is my favorite. The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, ugh, so many more.
Music isn't really what it used to be. The industry has changed so much. I'm not saying music isn't good these days, because there are so great songs out right now, but it's so, don't know the word...I just love it! :)

I LOVE music as well! I like everything, except rap. Now because I grew up in the 80's I still love that type of music but my favorite...dance/club music. I absoulutely love Lady GaGa, Benni Bennasi, Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers. It gets me going in the morning and I love to run to it!!

My variety is huge ... Spanish rock and some love song, yes I love 80s and 90s and some from the 70s too.
Love to sing along in the car or wherever I am. I'm not a perfect singer but I can carry a tune or so I like to think!!
I've always thought Jim Morrison was a hottie! Loved when Val Kilmer interpret J. M. He's a hottie too ... or it used to be anyways :D
Oh goodness. I have a love/hate relationship with music... the radio really :) There are things I will love one day and hate the next. I keep my ipod fully stocked with music to fit whatever mood I'm in. Haha. Most of the time I listen to talk radio in the car though. I'm weird like that!
